Interesting APUSH video

Okay, okay, I know Mr. Stewart says "APUSH" is weird and that it should be "USHAP", but...

Anyway, I found this video that was not only humorous but also was not full of cringeworthy autotune. :)

The video covers most of the major conflicts throughout American history, with a surprising amount of accuracy.  If any of you are willing to take 5 minutes of your time, this is definitely worth watching.  Enjoy!

  1. This was hilarious, Geralyn! The KKK part actually killed me. Where was this video in my panic the night before the AP test... I can't believe I can look back at a whole year's worth of learning and just laugh. I hope this isn't too little too late, but some other videos like this that I watched throughout the year were the John Green Crash Course videos, and I thought they did a great job of reviewing without boring me to tears. There are actually many different subjects beyond just USHAP covered in these videos. I think everyone could consider using these videos as a study tool next year.

  2. Yes! I love John Green's Crash Course videos! I remember using them as a study tool last year for AP Euro, since our teacher didn't really teach us. I definitely recommend these as a resource for anyone who wants to study/cram for an important test - the videos done by him and his brother span a wide range of topics.

  3. I was really wondering whether somebody was going to mention the auto tune in the previous video and cringe worthy is certainly the best way to describe it. Crash Course is the best for reviewing. Green's crash courses are better than his books. The mystery document parts of them are actually pretty helpful because half of the exam was reading documents and responding to them. And thank you for the video, it was a cinematic marvel.

  4. I watched this video last night and I laughed so hard when they had Jackson versus Congress, because it just shows how he influence of one single man that we elect into office can change the entire political course of our nation. If a presidential candidate lies during his presidential campaign to win the election and then changes his policy once in office... there is nearly nothing that we can do to change the course of our nation until the next election.

  5. This video really summed up USH for such a short time frame. I kind of wish I found it/someone else posted it before the AP test because it splits the different eras pretty well if you're cramming some last minute information, and the parts that the guys tried to make humorous were generally amusing.

  6. Cool video. The video sorta just jumped over the main aspects, assuming you knew everything already, which is pretty much what a review video should do. I enjoyed the humor as well. Nice find.
