Hey everyone! We have been talking about the conspiracy theories of President Kennedy’s assassination in class and I was curious about the theory blaming the President Lyndon Johnson. I researched it and here is what I found:
According to the theory, Vice President Johnson was the most motivated to organize Kennedy’s assassination. Kennedy and Johnson had many political differences and personal problems. The theory suggests that this gave Johnson both personal and political motive. Johnson’s associates organized many details of the trip, leading many to believe Johnson organized the assassination. Apparently the CIA and wealthy tycoons believed that they would be more successful under a new administration and teamed up with Johnson. Another version of the theory includes George H.W. Bush. This version claimed that Johnson was aided by Bush, a CIA official who happened to be in Dallas on the day of the assassination.
